The Beginning

Oh my word! I am totally doing this! I am so excited! This blog is a work in process, but I was so excited I couldn't wait to post something! I have recently started selling tutus, and I thought a blog might be helpful in getting the word out. I will be posting pictures as soon as I get my Mother's Day present--a toddler size dress form with a stand! (Any of you who have seen the pictures on Facebook with Winnie-the-Pooh as my model can appreciate my need for a dress form!)

Thanks for all the encouragement so far! I cannot wait to see where this leads!

Oh, anyone wondering about the name? HBK-my initials! When my husband and I were newly married, he jokingly said my initials stood for the "heart break kid". I thought it was funny--and clever! And here we are, nearly ten years later, with our own little heart breakers, whom I love and love to create stuff for!

Best wishes, Holly, on your new adventure! Your tutus are so pretty! I've seen so many little ones wearing tutus this Spring here in California. Hopefully, your business will grow by leaps and bounds...or maybe "pirouettes."

Holly, you are so great! These tutu's are SO cute and fun! I always wanted a boy first but now I kinda want a girl just to get a tutu - or maybe you can just make one for me lol. Mo & Quinn are so lucky to have such a creative, devoted, and loving mommy! You are such an inspiration and I hope this business opportunity blossoms and grows for you (but not too much to stress you out :)
